Form : verb, adjective stem + 거나

2.-게 되다: An expression that represents a result, situation, or state changed by external influences. (End up ~ing)
Form : verb, adjective stem + 게 되다.

When did you start learning Korean?
B: 1년 전부터 배우게 됐어요.
I started learning it a year ago.
A: 한국어를 정말 잘하시네요! 어떻게 배우게 됐어요?

3.-어 보다: an expression of attemp or experience (Try, Have+P.P)
Form : verb stem + 아/어/해 보다.
A: 안녕하세요. 주말에 뭐 했어요?
Hello. What did you do during the weekend?
B: 주말에 백화점에 갔어요.
I went to the department store on the weekend.
A: 백화점에서 옷을 샀어요?
Did you buy the clothes at the department store?
B: 아니요. 너무 비싸서 못 샀어요.
No. I couldn't buy it because it was too expensive.
A: 그래요? 강남역을 알아요?
Really? Do you know Gangnam Station?
