저는 월요일부터 금요일까지 회사에서 일해요. 엄마는요?
I work at company from Monday to Friday. How about you, mom?
난 주말에 일하고 월요일과 화요일에 쉬어.

평일에 몇 시에 일어나?

아침 수업이 있으면 새벽 5시나 6시에 일어나고,

집에서 지하철역까지 걸어서 10분 걸리고

I take the subway for about 40 minutes.
다행히 갈아탈 필요가 없어요.
Fortunately, I don't have to transfer.
하지만 출퇴근 시간에는 항상 사람이 많아서 힘들어요.

난 지하철을 타거나 버스를 탈 필요가 없어.

나는 교대 근무를 하는데,

오전에 출근할 때는 오전7시부터 오후4시까지,

When I go to work in the afternoon, I work from 1pm to 10pm.
하루에 9시간 일하고 1시간 쉬어.

엄마는 1년에 휴가가 며칠이에요?

음, 15일이야.

한국에서 직장을 다니면 최소 15일의 개인 휴가가 있어.

So on the weekends, I go to a cafe alone or meet friends.
2. 지난 주말과 다음 주 (Last week and next week)
지난 주말에는 뭐 했어?

음.. 지난 주말에는 호주 친구의 생일이었어요.
Um.. it was my Australian friend's birthday last weekend.
그래서 생일파티에 갔어요.
So I went to a birthday party.
생일 선물로 한국 기념품도 샀어요.
I bought a Korean souvenir as a birthday present.
오후 5시에 파티가 시작했는데 날씨가 진짜 좋았어요.
The party started at 5pm and the weather was really nice.
친구가 피자와 치킨도 시켜서 맛있게 먹었어요.
My friend ordered pizza and chicken and enjoyed them.
재밌었겠네.

3. 한국의 날씨와 사계절 (Weather in Korea and four seasons)

날씨가 흐리고 진짜 습해.

6월 중순에 한국에 오는 건 추천하지 않아.

여기는 항상 덥고 습해요.

에어컨이 없으면 살 수가 없어요.
I can't live without air conditioning.
그런데 대중교통을 타거나 쇼핑몰에 가면

에어컨이 너무 세서 진짜 추워요.

그래서 여기 사는 사람들은 보통 긴 팔, 긴 바지를 입어요.

한국에는 사계절이 있어서 여름에는 진짜 덥고 습하지만

곧 가을과 겨울이 오니까 괜찮은 것 같아.

또 여름에는 바다에 가서 수영을 할 수 있고,
